We are happy to announce on the 10th Anniversary of the Northeast Kingdom Snow Blasters the purchase of a 2022 Pisten Bully 400 groomer. This was an effort that involved you, as members and supporters, VAST equipment grant, United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development grant, the Passumpsic Bank in Newport, And Ron Merrill Merrill Consulting along with several directors and officers in securing the funding. This was no small task that was started a year ago and our operators are finally using the machine to make the trails inviting for all to ride on.
I would like to thank Steven Blanchard Sr, Laurie Hunniford, Missy Benson, Sonia Koehler, for assisting in getting the large number of documents, letters and financial data needed and David Diminico Sr and Jason Hunniford for all the research and demoing groomers and our directors and officers for getting this well-deserved club a new groomer.
As you know we have struggled over the years and we could always count on our Neighbors to lend a hand, Canaan Border Riders, Brighton Snowmobile Club, Derby Drift Dusters, Connecticut Valley Snowmobile Club and all the volunteers and members, we appreciate and respect you all.
So, with the potential for a big storm this week our Trails coordinator David Diminico Sr is scheduling the operators and you will see us out there showing you why we all volunteer and support in many ways to this great sport. Thank you Landowners, Thank you Volunteers, Thank supporters by using all businesses that you see posted on all the signboards no matter where you ride.
